Aberystwyth Crematorium
enjoys arguably one of the most beautiful settings of any crematorium within the UK.  Set in the Cynfelyn Valley, overlooking fields, woods and the distant sea.. It probably has one of the largest catchment areas of any crematorium, serving the residents of Aberystwyth and also the widely spread rural communities of Mid Wales.

The building has been especially designed to blend into this landscape and has the look of a small country house.  The chapel seats 86 and is characterised by a large bay window overlooking the valley below.

A public address system is available together with a traditional organ and the chapel can be altered to meet the needs of all faiths
A woodland cemetery is located within the grounds alongside a vibrantly colourful memorial garden.

The Crematorium was opened in 1994 by a private operator and is now operated by the Westerleigh Group in association with the Local Authority.
