Banbury Crematorium
Banbury Crematorium was built by The London Cremation Company plc and opened in February 1999. The company owns and operates crematoria in London, Surrey, Oxfordshire and Kent.
The London Cremation Company plc is owned by The Cremation Society of Great Britain, a registered charity, founded in 1874 for the purpose of promoting cremation as an acceptable method for disposing of the dead.
This pioneering organisation established Great Britain’s first crematorium at Woking in 1885, which is still serving the community today.
